Four of us had dinner at the restaurant last night. All four dishes were outstanding. The food that was spicy was perfect and the non spice lover's food was also excellent. Shrimp and Asparagus, Padi Thai, whole fried flounder, and beef and vegetables were all good. Service was excellent and informative. A few thai beers and and some wine and we were all very pleased with the food. We have heard about the donuts, so we will have to come back in the AM and grab some of those. We will definitely go back for some more Thai food.

This Christmas season my family and I visited relatives in Annapolis MD. While there we went for a dinner at a great little Thai restaurant. One would ask "What is so special about this? There are plenty of Thai restaurants in the area....." Turns out this restaurant is special -- in the morning it is a doughnut shop then at lunch and dinner it goes through a metamorphosis and becomes a good sit down Thai restaurant
Also on a day you are lucky they have left over doughnuts at dinner...
The Thai dishes are great -- we had 7 entrees and they were all great! You should give it a try.

We did not care for the Thai food as it was not prepared with traditional herbs, was not spicy and was served in the atmosphere of a donut joint. Somehow a thai luncheon shouldn't smell like freshly baked donuts!

These have been the best donuts for as long as I can remember. The current owners are a Thai family and the Thai food they make at lunch is also worth the trip.

I grew up near Annapolis and used to always stop in Carlson's early morning before a long road trip and get a Boston Cream donut. I always thought they were the best but now that I have been away for 10 years and came back, I can tell you that they definitely have the best Boston cream donut!

The buildings are unassuming, and i have never actually stayed to try the Thai food, but the donuts a fresh, light, fluffy and flavorful. There is on on West Street and one on Mayo Road.
