When i got back to my room on the second night, the cleaning people did not clean or stock up the coffee station. Needless to say, that was extremely disappointing. I have a picture in case anyone is interested.

I was placed in a room that had a very loud humming sound coming from the ceiling. I was some part of the buildings HVAC system and it was not for that room. When i told the attendant at the front desk she said she would have someone "Look" at it. The noise would not stop for about 2 hours. when we got back to the hotel late that night the noise would start and stop a about every 15 mins. Nothing was done, they did not move me to a new room. It was just a bad experience.

Great location, great hotel staff they were extremely helpful and made the stay enjoyable. The restaurant had great food, but service was hit or miss. Hotel has a shuttle the driver was extremely nice. She was able to help with suggestions of places to eat aad sites to see Tiny rooms, slow elevators, no ice machines.

Check in went smoothly around 5 PM. However, as gold members we had requested a quiet room on high floor. The room was a lower floor and right on the noisy highway. As we checked in on a Sunday and we had booked weeks before, somebody goofed. We went back and asked for another room, and we were given a room on the opposite side of building which was very quiet.
The room was very nice and beds comfortable. The pool was very big but it was unheated and water temperature was very cold and they did not have a spa like most Doubletrees. Pool was very close to noisy highway too. Breakfast was very good and very attentive servers. They offered us free van service to downtown which we used. However, when we called for a pickup, they told us the van was out of service for repair? We had to pay for taxi back to hotel. No concern was shown at front desk for this inconvenience. Mixed feelings about this hotel.

Room Tip: Do NOT accept a room on highway side wing.

I would definitely stay again, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and clean rooms! One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at! Buffet breakfast was very nice and complimentary=wonderful! Definitely a great value for your money!
