This is a natural gathering spot for people. There are several restaurants in the surrounding area, and it's fun just to sit or walk by Ego Alley to watch the people and the macho boaters who must do a tight u-turn at the end of the alley. Suffice it to say that some are better at it than others :)

Most of the reviews are correct. Ego Alley is just what it says. But one can't help walking around, check out the boats, sit in the area with benches & trees & relax... Look out onto the water & see the sailboats go by. Have great ice cream nearby and quite a few good restaurants.

Well first and foremost the name really is justified with all the million dollar boats parked & someones you'll see few coming just to make a round to show-off :-)
Its a nice joint to hangout , kind of center of the harbor. Do notice the statue of Alex Haley telling the story of Kunta Kinte to three children from his Roots - the story of struggle & family bond - A Luta Continua....

You need more than Lottery money to own one of these puppies! But the beauty of Ego Alley is that you get to walk right along side these gorgeous vessels and dream of what it might be like! The park that adjoins the Alley is lovely and provides a relaxing place to view all the harbor traffic.

Fun to sit dockside and admire the yachts and sailboats that dock there. Spectacular views of the bay. Quaint buildings surround the area.
