This is just a nice trail for walking, running, biking, or just ambling along and occasionally watching the passersby.

“If you like to bike Safely”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2011

This bike train follows for the most part an old WB&A railroad track sheltered by trees and woods through new and old housing communities and by a major shopping center where you can lock your bike and take a break. The train is over twenty miles long extending to Annapolis from Glen Burnie, MD

“Nice Trail for all levels”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2011

If you pick up the trail in Annapolis the first hills can be tough for little ones. Another option is to drive up to Arnold and get on the trail there. Great place for strolling, biking, rollerblading etc. just watch out for the fast bicyclists that think they are riding the Tour de France!

“Better things to do...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2010

The southern half of the trail is good for biking or running...not very scenic but it's flat and straight. The upper half of the trail goes through some pretty sketchy areas, and is probably best not to be on it by yourself. In short, don't come to Annapolis to see the B&A trail.

“Great Bike Trail”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2010

This trail is very under-rated.Its not as scenic as the NCR Trail. But it is a nice trail. And unlike the NCR Trail ,its paved .So you can ride it all year round and in most weather.

Once you reach the end, near Annapolis, keep riding on the shoulder and it will take you over the bridge by the Naval Academy. You can have lunch in Annapolis and then ride back.

Overall its an easy ride and perfect for beginners at bicycling ,or someone that simply wants a short pleasant bicycle ride.

For the record , the trail starts right by the Cromwell Glen Burnie Lightrail Stop. You ARE allowed to take your bike on Lightrail. Just get in the last car and stay at the back of the car out of everbody's way. They say that you cant ride with your bike on Lightrail during "rush hour". But as long as the train is not crowded [it never is] no one cares..

Have fun riding!
