I was told by a friend about this restaurant. My husband and I tried it 3 weeks ago. Since then we have been there 2 times for dinner and once for lunch. Everything we had was delicious. The broiled orange roughy, fried oysters, pot roast, the crab cake and shrimp salad lunch combo were all excellent along with their potato salad. The service was also very good and the best part is, all meals come with dessert. The only negative is the rice pudding was very bland. The strawberry cake and chocolate brownie cake were very good. Always have to take them home as we are just too filled up to eat them there. Maryland crab soup and the cream of crab also very good. Highly recommend this quirky little restaurant. Love that they play 50's and 60's music!!

The clerk at our hotel recommended this place for supper. It was just across the street in a strip mall; it would be really easy to over look it if you didn't know what you were looking for. The only negative thing about the restaurant was that their AC had quit working and it was quite warm in the dining room. That being said, that was the most negative part of our visit. We had a very short wait to be seated. Wait staff was attentive even though the place was hopping. Large salads, huge portions. Go hungry or plan for carry out! Wish we had someplace like this in our area. We would be frequent diners.

A friend and I followed Trip Advisor recommendations, and we went to Mamie's for lunch on a Sunday afternoon while our husbands played golf. It was a delightful experience! We ordered crab cakes and corn fritters. We were surprised to learn that our lunch included complimentary dessert --- a brownie, rice pudding, or vanilla cake. We enjoyed looking at all of the photos and memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We loved this little cafe!
