“Comfort home cooking like your sitting in Aunt Maime's retro kitchen.”

Fabulous. Called ahead with 3 hungry teens. Table was ready. Food was home made. Came out piping hot and delicious and included dessert which was scrumptious (we ordered all selections again all home made). A real gem!

“Broiled salmon with crab meat!”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Great food, great service. The menu is diverse in southern food, both fried and broiled for healthy eaters. And who doesn't love free dessert?! Linda was my server, and she was fantastic!

“Home cooking served here”

Great family place. Fun nostalgic place. Recommend the Salisbury steak with French fries (covered in gravy, of course! ) And you must try the corn fritters.

“It is okay”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

It offers average food. The locals enjoy eating there so you will get a bit of the local ambiance. The personnel are pleasant and you get good service.

“Good, but not great!”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Mamie's has a fun funky decor - very homey and cool! The cream of crab soup was too thick for me, but that is just a personal preference - flavor was okay, but not great. My sandwich was a crab melt, which was good. My wife got a turkey reuben, which was also good. All in all, Mamie's is good, but not great. Yet I would definitely come back even though the food was nothing necessarily special because it is a fun funky place with some personality.
