Found it through priceline and got a good clean room with a King bed. Breakfast was nice and got a nice hottub and a small pool as well!

We checked in after midnight, not making any prior reservation, to a King Suite which was fantastic! 2 flat screen TVs, free wifi, kitchette, couch and easy chair, desk, great continental breakfast. Really nice entry/lobby and eating area. Clean, very clean! We'll be back!

Only stayed one night here during a road trip. We had actually booked in advance and got the room for free by cashing in some frequent user points. So I suppose we had little room to complain!

Which is good as we found nothing to complain about. The hotel is a very typical modern example, a short drive outside Augusta. Room was nice, with all the usual facilities.

We drove into Augusta for our evening meal which was also good.

Recommended.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Augusta. The rooms were very modern and clean - flat screen TV, nice furniture, refrigerator, two phones and fast wireless. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. All the breakfast food was very fresh and neatly presented. With all that said there were some minor issues. First, the night we arrived there were many pool towels but the next day and night there were very few pool towels. We had to borrow some from the weight room. Second, we wanted to sleep in and we put on the do not disturb card out until around 1PM. We told the desk to have our room made up and we came back to a room that was only half made up. The spread was still on the floor, etc. Third, the breakfast attendant was a bit intimidating. She was like standing guard at the area and watched every move everyone was making. Finally, there was a power outage that was not the hotel's fault as we were checking out. As a result, we could not split the bill. The power outage lasted for hours. A few days later it was too late to split the bill according to the financial planner of the hotel. It seemed too confusing to the staff at that point and the whole amount was already credited to one card. Forgetting about the power outage because it was not the hotel's fault and despite the hotel being super clean there were lots of little issues and I'm undecided to return.

We stayed here one night when returning from vacation. Got in late and the person at the front desk was a young robotic uncaring zombie from the twilight zone. LOL! I mean come on, do something else with your life if you don't want to be here... The person at check-out was not much better. We got the exact room that we did NOT want; a room in the middle of the hallway next to the elevator, but at least it was quiet. The guestroom was great; new, clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again, but I hope to meet some friendlier staff next time.

We spent just one night at the Fairfield Inn Augusta 8/14/10. We booked this using a reward certificate. We had hoped to also stay one or two nights prior, but felt the rate was high. I checked regularly hoping it would drop, but that didn't happen so we booked an alternate property for the other nights.

Access from the highway requires an unprotected left turn at an intersection that really isn't obvious. We saw the hotel up on the left, but didn't actually see the sign until we had turned. Once familiar with it, not a problem. Turning right to exit the property is much easier than turning left to enter.

Upon arrival, all was wonderful. Hotel is new with very contemporary appearance, wonderful modern decor, very nice lobby. Front desk associates were professional, pleasant and helpful.

Our room was beautiful. Bathroom was well outfitted, Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

The (expanded) continental breakfast was wonderful. Lots of protein options were available including breakfast sandwiches and quiche (refrigerated, individually wrapped, to be heated in microwave). Fresh waffles could be easily baked by guests. Hot oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt and lots of breakfast breads were also available. Attendant made sure plenty of hot coffee was available. Very nice job!

TV cable was pretty typical and high speed internet worked great.

Pool area was very small, but very nice. Pool water was too cold for me, but my husband enjoyed it. We both loved the hot tub. Adjacent fitness center was very nice.

We spent two weekend nights at this hotel with my elderly parents as we were participating in Family Weekend for our daughter's camp. We were very pleased with the Fairfield Inn and found everyone on the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

I was especially impressed with how clean both the public and private areas of the hotel were. The rooms, with one king bed, were not huge but for the price it was a great deal. The hotel was booked solid the two nights we were there but was very quiet. Yes, the towels could have been fluffier but for $100 per night, I don't expect luxury.

The most notable thing was that I had requested, weeks after making my initial reservation, for a handicap accessible room for my parents (my dad has mobility issues). The one they had was booked. I forgot to call (as they suggested) again right before our visit to see it had opened up. But when we got to my parents' room, we realized it was the handicapped accessible one. I thought that was good attention to detail.

Breakfast was more than adequate for continental and the coffee was very good (also a coffeepot in your room which I enjoyed).

We will stay here again next year. Doubt we could find better in the Augusta area
