This visit was out second visit to the restaurant. The ribs are good. The cornbread is great. The jambalaya was disappointing. Service is friendly and attentive. It is a good place for a beer and a bite but take some care with what you order. Stick with the BBQ items.

Wonderful little place in unfortunately relatively empty waterfront area of Augusta. Food was great (we had pulled chicken, BBQ chicken, corn bread, fries, cole slaw-- although menu is quite broad). Nice waitress, quick service, very reasonably priced. Would be eager to go back next time I am in town.

We stopped in Augusta on the way north in Maine and found Riverfront Barbeque and Grill. It was a GREAT choice for a good, barbeque dinner. We had 6 adults and 2 children and ordered a full slab of ribs and the barbeque sampler (with the pulled pork). There was just enough food to go around with almost none left over. The ribs very tasty and pretty much all the elements of the barbeque sampler were very good. This was a very nice change of pace from all the seafood that we had and it was very much worth the stop in Augusta. Highly recommended!

We were driving through downtown on a Sunday, looking for a place to have a light lunch. Service is friendly, the barbecue is OK. We really didn't see much else downtown. We would recommend it for a lunch while passing through but not as a destination in and of itself.

These are the best ribs we have ever had in the Northeast. Great smoky flavor, tender and yet very lean. The rub is great, we did not need to use the BBQ sauce (which is also very good). In addition the homemade slaw is crunchy and tasty. We also goes some of the pulled pork and smoked sausage as take outs. They are also good, but not as wonderful as the ribs.
