In town to attend a class reunion, a part of which took place at the hotel. As a result, we had opportunities to use the bar, the restaurant & their meeting facilities in addition to the lodging. Everything met or exceeded expectations. The staff and the facilities were great.

We brought 11 Dixie League 13 year old baseball players from Virginia to play in the Dixie League World Series in Pineville. Wonderful staff, clean comfortable rooms! Everything was great, big lounge area. Perfect for our large size group. Had a great time

On a trip attempting to get from Florida to Texas during the flood of August 2016, we ended up in Alexandria late in the evening and found this hotel. The room was great - beds were comfortable, shower terrific. Loved everything about this hotel except there was no breakfast in the morning...not even coffee in the lobby!

We traveled down to Alexandria for the weekend to attend the 60 th Anniversary of the Dixie Boys Baseball at the World Series that was in Alexandria. The workers were super friendly, anytime you walked in, you were greeted by the staff. The rooms were very spacious. The restaurant was very nice. We found out that the hotel had only three bathtubs in the rooms, and all the rest had showers. Had a good view of the river and also of the swimming pool. I highly recommend this hotel. Had a very enjoyable experience at this hotel

Room tip: When making reservations, if you want a bathtub, request one.

WOW!!! That's all I can say about this new hotel in downtown Alexandria. I've seen this hotel thru many names, stages and closings over the last 25 years. It looks better than it ever has! We had guests from out of town that required more space/privacy than we could provide at our home. I decided to put them up at this new Holiday Inn, but only after I checked it out from top to bottom. I was given a complete tour of the stylish lobby area, great bar, Eddies BarBQ, Salon(yes there is a salon with yoga, massage, beauty services)pool, and a room with king bed. I booked 3 nights for our out of town guests. Then I went to the bar and had a great Moscow Mule!
Our guests were blown away by the hotel and its many amenities. I know I'll be back to visit the Eddies BarBQ and the bar! And I already attended a yoga class at the Salon as well. Check it out. This is not your average Holiday Inn. Oh and just one more thing that I found really interesting. There are Tesla charging stations there for electric cars. Two Teslas were there charging up on the last day of our guest visit. How cool is that? It's great to see downtown Alexandria doing well.
