We've eaten here twice. We live in Colorado and stumbled on this place on our way to Florida two years ago. This year, we timed our trip to make sure we got to Alexandria in time to eat just so we could go back for another excellent meal. We had the seafood bisque instead of the salad - it's to die for. We also had the crawdad tails appetizer - wonderful. My wife and I had different seafood entrees, both of which were excellent. She claimed it was her lifetime best meal (and we've both traveled extensively and eaten in some great places). Highly recommended.

Recommended by hotel staff and was close to hotel. Kind of late so stopped here. Waitress was very friendly and polite. We both had the seafood bisque which was excellent. Just enough spice to add some kick. I had the seafood pasta which had shrimp, clams, and vegetables - came in a very large helping with a roll that was excellent. Very filling. Husband had shrimp that was fried and some that was stuffed. He said was also very good. Meal prices average $13.00 - $18.00. Not a very big menu. Very good meal. It was all very rich and very unhealthy, but wonderful tasting.

Very displeased with this establishment the main dish served and advertised is all varieties of snapper prepared different ways and come to find out the snapper they so deceptively sell turns out to be a nice inexpensive mild white fish which is talapia i have no problem with talapia but i do have a problem with being told i am purchasing snapper which is a better more expensive fish and actually receiving talapia very upset dont know how a local business can continue to conduct business based on a lie

Easy on/off from I-49. Menu is limited but has a good selection of seafood choices. Prices were reasonable. I had fried shrimp po-boy (should have ordered it dry as it came with some kind of mayo/tartar sauce on both sides of the bread). Instead of regular french fries I substituted sweet potato fries (additional $1.99 charge).

My husband had gumbo (dark and very good) and crab cakes (from the appetizer menu). .

We both ordered Cokes ($2.25 each). When getting ready to leave, he asked for sweet tea to go instead of another Coke. The very young waitress added $2.25 to the bill for the tea! That was a first.

Total bill $35.66--a little much for lunch.
