My stay here was unexpected but such an awesome surprise. The location is quiet and secluded, set in a garden paradise. There are only 6 rooms but nothing is skimped on. A wonderful large pool is set in front of the gorgeous turquoise ocean. There are hammocks and seating placed throughout the property allowing guests to relax and take in the beauty of American Samoa. Gazebos are used for dining and provides the perfect ambience.

Dean was always there to greet you and make your stay the best possible. What owner would be working at 9pm to help you figure out the new cable box? Thanks Dean!

Isabel was the best! She greeted me each morning with my breakfast and always made sure that I was comfortable and had everything that I needed. I was totally pampered!

The continental breakfast consists of fresh fruit, cold cereal, toast with awesome homemade coconut butter, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. There is also laundry service if you need it. Wifi is free and the connection great (much appreciated since this was a business trip). There is a frig filled with cold drinks that can also store some of your purchases. The kitchen is available for use too.

I miss walking the beach and enjoying the views. I wish I could've stayed longer but the next time I do I hope to have the larger room with the large soak-in bathtub. :)

This family run getaway is beautifully located on the ocean by blow holes! It is conveniently near the airport and all of town's amenities. With private and family pools there is also a small sandy beach to sun bathe. The service by the welcoming staff cannot to be surpassed. I look forward to my next visit!

This totally charming boutique hotel certainly has some wow factor. At the end of a lane, this property consists of a main building and a bungalow set in a gorgeous and expansive garden of pines, palms, pandanus, casurinas, lots of springy green lawn and much more. At the end of the gardens are pavilions, tables and chairs and cushioned lounges in bleached cane around two quite individual swimming pools. And just beyond the pools are black volcanic rocks with low cliffs dropping to pounding sea. The higher the tide the higher the waves blow into the air and gush across the rock pools. Hanging with elbows on the side of one of the swimming pools watching the massive walls of spume fly into the air and crash onto the black rocks is simply spectacular. Of course you can watch those pounding waves from one of the hammocks instead. I am guessing that one would never be short of a deck lounge or pool chair here, after all there are only five rooms!

As to the rooms, we had the bungalow which was compact but comfortable and convenient. The high quality queen size bed had nice bedding and pillows. The room was decorated in light neutral shades with mushroom walls and pleasant Samoan art and cool tiled floors. It had a wardrobe with long mirror, a mini-bar, tea and coffee making, a microwave oven, an iron, a flat screen television with cable channels, two chairs and free wifi. What more could you ask for? At $135 per night, this would be great value.

The bathroom had plenty of shelf space and soft towels, instant hot water and a shower over a bath tub. Only the folding wooden Louver door was less than ideal. Back in the garden there was also an outdoor, roofed laundry basin with clothes lines and pegs.

A complimentary continental breakfast was served with style in a charming garden pavilion. There was cereal, fruit, toast and jam, and coffee/ tea. The staff were very friendly. There is a large guest living room in the main building, furnished with black and white photographs and loads of style.

As well as accommodation, this place also does functions and I can imagine that it would be lovely for a wedding or honeymoon or both.

On a practical level, unless you do not want to move from the pool, you do need a car out here. We hired one from the airport. To find Moana O Sina you should turn left immediately on leaving the airport terminal. What you need to do is follow the road along the fence with the airstrip on your left. Beyond this the road passes the K S Mart and the Capstone church. Look for a modern stone fence with regular stone posts with round balls on top. You must look carefully for the first street on the left. The last indicator before turning left is the Mr Plumber sign. Follow the street and you will know that it is the right one when you see the runway head on, to your left. Keep driving until you see the Moana O Sina sign on the right and turn there. Follow it to the end and you have found a pretty special place.

Room Tip: We liked the bungalow.
