This Japanese restaurant in Panama City offers sushi and cooked Japanese food with some Panamanian touch, making what probably is fusion. Appetizers are for instance edamame (green beans, which are also known in Panama with a different name), a kind of spring roll with some fruit taste and little ceviches served in a round pastry, making an interesting mix of tropical and Asian taste.
We were visiting in a group from work and the service went quite well: fast, friendly and effective. We had a pre chosen dish offering a choice on fish, beef or chicken, all quite attractive and in portions that are bigger then the Japanese I am use to have in Japanese restaurants in Europe or in the ones I experienced when visited Japan.
The ambiance is agreeable and discreetly Japanese.
