The Boulevard Balboa is one of those city reataurants that you visit anyway for its location, convenience, and history. The food is average but the service is good. On our last visit to Panama we went twice, once for lunch and then for a late dinner. The menu is very ample but the food comes out lukewarm. I had to send my chicken breast with vegetables back for warm up. In the evening I ordered a garden salad that was unimpressive. The atmosphere late at night carries a lot of movement and you get to see a few interesting characters from Panama's life. After having lunch, a walk along the Balboa Avenue to enjoy the harbor and sample some of the new and innovative high rises recently built is a must. Panama is becoming a great Latin American capital wotrh seeing.
