“Top 5 favorites in Panama”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

I love taking friends here if they've never been. Once they've been, they bring their friends and on and on. Fresh fish, menu changes according to what's available at the Mercado de Mariscos and is always fabulous. Entertainment weekly and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

I've been going since they opened and go at least 2x per month. FYI - for the portapotty - one of the cleanest I've been in, has a bright light and a sink inside to wash your hands although there is one outside.

I love sitting outside, having a casual (very reasonable prices) dinner with my husband or any friends we can round up.

Mike and Maurice are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

“Amazing”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

I would advise you not to wear flipflops as I did if you plan to visit....your feet will eventually get guts on them. it was great to order from the fisherman and go eat upstairs. It was also wonderful to watch the local economy and commerce at work.

“Delicious fresh ceviche!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

We made it to the market at the end of their day but still got to stroll through the market place and see some of the fresh fish up for grabs. The highlight though was sitting outside and enjoying multiple varieties of fresh ceviche (super reasonable prices!) and beers.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

I don't believe it's possible to get bad seafood in Panama(that's what Panamanians do best).
For me it is more the experience as this place is unique in so many ways that I go for the good food but really enjoy the atmosphere as it is different from any other place in Panama.
Bring your camera and get there early because you can spend a lot of time walking around inspecting what you are about to eat.
Every tourist should experience this place at least once.

“Love food trucks”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

Who would have guessed that one of the top dining spots in Casco Viejo is a food truck?! I love them at home (D.C.), and follow my faves on Twitter. This one was a little hard to locate, but once we found it we were amazed at the creative way the owners transformed a vacant ruin into a fun dining experience. The fish tacos were fresh and tasty, so was the ceviche. They have a good selection of beer, they bring your order to your table, and the cost is a real bargain. Definitely recommend.
