We visited Carlos Weil's gallery and weren't disappointed. We saw and purchased some wood art (he calls guardians) that we haven't run across in other galleries/shops.
Moreover, Carlos took the time to explain all of the items he had there, which was very informative.
Even if we hadn't bought art (we purchased two pieces) we could have spent an hour or more just looking at the beautiful pieces he has there and listening to his stories.
Well worth stopping here if you are in Panama City. Note: He also has a smaller shop in the old city (run by his son David). We went to both, but the larger shop obviously has more inventory.
