“Nice clean and uncluttered stretch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2013

I walked the entire path from the Mercado de Mariscos/Old City to the end close to Paitilla. It was a nice welcome to have a wide (if not huge) path all perfectly paved with interlock bricks and greenspace along the waters edge.

It was nice watching the traffic jam along Balboa which runs alongside. Nicely afar from the path so you can get away from the exhaust for a bit. Views looking all ways are beautiful.

Totally uncrowded. Along the way there are a couple vendors selling cold drinks and snacks. There is a small water park with a couple jets for kids to play in. Metal benches all along the way (you're gonna get a bit tired with the sun). Saw a couple outdoor work out machines.

Didn't find any washrooms however...

“Pleasant walk with great views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

This pleasant paved path runs along the coast from downtown Panama City (the modern part) to the Historic district. It is about a three miles. Lots of parks along the way, good people watching...runners, bikers, many locals. Great views of the skyscrapers of Panama City as well as the sea. Runs parallel to the a main road so if you get tired you can just get a taxi.

“pretty on the eye...”

the traffic is hideous at anytime but Sundays and 3 am! Stay off of it if you are driving your own car. Suggestion to the MOP: Double its size...

“Fantastic walking paths along the water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2013

We walked from the Casco Viejo (old colonial section) along the Costs Cintera walking path. You will pass a small outdoor market, a fish market and if you keep walking far enough you end up in the financial district. It seemed safe with lots of joggers, women with strollers and young lovers picnicking.
