We were staying at the hotel with kids during New Year's eve and decided to try out some drinks at the Martini bar as we had some free drinks coupons that came with the stay. Drinks were so-so - I had the watermelon Margarita which was probably the best of the lot. The kids had some virgin daiquiris and Pina Coladas - we've had better.
We were in summer clothes and were not sure about the Sushi bar as we had seen notices that there was a dress requirement. But seeing other similarly casually clad guests eating here - we figured we would try it - not wanting to venture out with the kids on New Year's Eve.
I must say we were pleasantly surprised by the range and selection on menu - it was not strictly Sushi admittedly - unless dishes like roast duck samosas qualify - but it was a big improvement on the much touted Fusion restaurant on the same premises.
The kids loved their staple California rolls too.
