This hotel could be fantastic - the lobby area looks like the hotel should be much fancier than it is (especially since the walk in rate posted on the desk is about $300 per night!!) Sadly, it seems to be past its glory days and it's now just an ok hotel. No taxi driver could find it easily - partially since there is currently no sign on it and it seems to have recently changed its name/chain.
The pool area could do with some work, the jacuzzi wasn't working and like someone mentioned there were birds drinking the water so we weren't sure how clean it was.. The breakfast was seemingly just various different types of not very tasty bread and pastries, with scrambled eggs and possibly restaurant left overs (chicken and peppers for breakfast??)
But... the beds were pretty comfy, the cleaning lady was lovely, someone brought round free sweet treats every afternoon and the view and location were good. Just don't play full price!

Had a comfortable stay in the Four Points, very nice people and nice environment, still it misses some charisma from the Sheratons, but the friendly and helpful staff compensate the lack of infrastructure.

Room Tip: I think they are all very nice

I have frequented the hotel for 7 years as it is attached to my office building, for meetings, client stays and I use there car service daily and bar or restaurant at least 3 times a week.

Today I as passing through the hotel as I do every day and wanted to get a drink at the bar whilst the rain stopped. As usual the bar keeps inconsistent hours and was unstaffed so i sat for less than 2 minutes before being approached by a man name tag Norman.

I was told i was just waiting for the heavy tropical rain to stop before walking back to my office, and i wish to get a drink, well the bar is closed. you need to leave your not consuming anything.

At this time the receptionist cam up and greeted me by name and told Norman that it was ok I am a regular guest and use the hotel most days. He said to her in spanish 'i don't care he is not consuming today so he must go'. she was so shocked and upset and even walked me to the door.

After 7 years using this hotel it is despicable beyond imagination. I now see why they have lost the Sheraton Flag.

I asked to speak to the manager who was traveling.

I was worried because an associate had booked this for me and I went right on to tripadvisor to see how the hotel is.

First off - it's worth noting that this is NO LONGER part of Sheraton/Starwood Group. It is, as the reviews mention, a bit old and rundown - but I wouldn't stop at that and judge it to be horrible. I think the fact that it's in a great location with restaurants, grocery stores/convenience stores right outside is a real plus point. A traveller in a new country always needs the security of knowing there are familiar things around the make their stay more safe. TO know you can easily grab a bit, buy snacks/water just next door is a great thing. PLus there's quite a big of shopping around the hotel too. The gym, whilst not MASSIVE and modernly equipped, has the essentials - a ski trainer, two treadmills and a few weight machines. Lovely pool for Sunny days.

Breakfast is not FILLED with choice, but it's got the basics. Fruit, coffee, tea, egg station, cereals and coffee/tea.

It's not a Sheraton standard hotel, but it will do for a couple nights stay for business - neither do I see any reason that a family cannot stay here and be more than happy. In fact each room has a great table/chair to work, cable TV, big bed AND a sofa-cum-bed for the kids!

I stayed in this hotel for two days.
The decor is old, the carpet dirty, it needs a lot of changes.
The location is good but they need to renovate the hotel and rooms.
The hotel facilities are terrible.
Also the taxis I took from the hotel were overprice, more expensive than the other hotel taxis on the area.

hotel is well located in the Financial District but that is about where the positives end.

furniture and bedding in rooms is old and had the appearance of not being well cleaned in a number of years.

breakfast buffet had little selection, over-ripened fruit and terrible coffee.

will only go back if there are no rooms available in any other hotels.

Clean hotel with good communications area for business to the states. I enjoyed breakfast before my days sightseeing. The area has many dining & bar options so I never tried the restaurant for dinner. Walking distance to 5 star hotels if you want spa treatments. Concierge was very helpful in booking last minute Canal excursions! Ten minute walk to the waterfront promenade. I would definitely stay again.
