Trip with Briant, Xplora Eco Adventures, was spectacular. We saw howler, white-faced monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, sloths, leaf cutter ants etc.

Been through the canal before on a cruise ship which was great, however, having the opportunity to go through on a ferry boat gave us a better understanding of the works of the canal. The ferry boat operator gave a great tour. Ferry boat TUIRA.

We had a lovely pontoon boat to take us fishing with a captain and an English speaking guide. They were very good to us and made our day trip very enjoyable. The took us to Monkey Island on the way back to the dock so we could see and feed the monkeys. That was definitely a highlight for me!

We enjoyed the short ride from the city, and found the opportunity to meet some indigenous people in their community. And found some history to be quite interesting. Near bird watching and hiking trails. Not too tourist-ee,

We took a trip on a comfortable powered boat (seats 20) from Gamboa and buzzed around the lake finding monkeys and watching passing ships before docking in a quiet corner of the lake at a "house boat" where we had lunch, were shown more animals and started a short trip by canoe of kayak to a wonderful little waterfall. Nice people on the trip, which we much enjoyed.
