We taxied out and walked part of the way back in the late afternoon. Good restaurants along the way, lovely view of Panama City.

I've lived here since March and it's an interesting attraction on a weekend evening. Lots of locals walk, bike, rollerblade, etc. There are some decent restaurants along the way and if you walk down the end of the causeway to Flamenco marina, there's even more. But probably not worth doing more than once.

It was okay...nice views of the city, but everything there is a tourist trap. Not much to do other than shop at little stores (including a duty-free) or eat at overpriced restaurants.

I grew up in the former Canal Zone and lived for a while in Navy housing on the edge of the Canal not far from the former Balboa Yacht Club and American Legion Club. Amador has changed drastically. Great place to visit but overly commercialized in my humble opinion. The Causeway was my local dive spot where I could catch as many lobsters as I needed (and sold all to the American Legion Resturaunt for $.50 cents a pound). Also we're I could spearfish Corvina under the Mine Dock along with Snook (and sold to the American Legion for $.20 cents a pound). Also where I speared Black Snappers under the Navy Corosion Test site.

One of my main lobster holes is now reclaimed and developed with modern yacht club/mooring in Flamingo Island.

Nice place to visit and eat especially at night to enjoy the Panoramic view of the Panama City Skyline.
