“Serene and beautiful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2013

This is a great place to unwind in Panama city. There is a clear view of Panama City from here as well as some great restaurants. It's also a stop on the hop on, hop off tour bus which is an added incentive for visiting.

“Best on the weekend”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

Many things were not open in July, but on the weekend there were people out relaxing, renting surrey-type bikes and enjoying meals at the restaurants that were open. Some of the restaurants have a fine view of the canal or bay from their outdoor patios.

“Cheesy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

The causeway had good views but otherwise was super corny. The restaurants and stores were pretty tourist. Maybe we did this wrong? I feel like this would have been much better for families.

“Nice afternoon stroll”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013

We walked back along the Amador Causeway after taking the panama canal boat trip. It's very nice for a walk and we stopped at one of the local ice cream shops and also saw the smithsonian tropical research institute which was interesting

“Do this.. bikes, skates, or walking...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

This is the place to hang out with locals, eat like locals, and spend like locals (inexpensive but great food and entertainment). This place won't be cheap for long. Once the canal is fully finshed, everyone in the world will be here. Rent skates or a bicycle and enjoy the ride along the ocean, watching the boats entering the canal. This is a treat!
