There were many positive aspects to my stay at the Sheraton in Panama City, including the service and the updated room decor. Room service was always prompt and the staff were helpful and friendly. During a city-wide power outage, which prevented us from getting to our rooms, hotel staff came around the lobby area with cold drinks to ensure that everyone was as comfortable as possible. The room was spacious and always clean.
My only problem was with the air conditioning, which was always too cold. Although the thermostat was set at 78F, the temperature in the room was always around 68. Most nights, I had to turn off the air conditioner before going to bed, but usually had to turn it back on later when it the room got too warm. I reported the problem to the front desk, but it was never resolved during my stay. Overall, my stay was quite good, but I wish the ventilation problem could have been fixed.More
