“Fun hike”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This park is located very close to the downtown. The taxi should cost about $10-15, don't pay more! We hiked the entire trail, took us about 3 hours, saw couple of monkeys, leaf cutter ants, an alligator and few birds. Didn't see much because it was raining the entire time, but on a nice clear day you could even see some sloths :)

“Great views of the city”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

We enjoyed a few hours of walking through the park. The birds were plentiful and the trails were well maintained. The rangers were really nice.

“Beautiful national park”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

We only had a short time here and went around midday so a lot of the animal and bird life were pretty quiet. We saw some wonderful hummingbirds, butterflies, and leaf cutting ants. The watchtower is mixing and so beautiful to see the rainforest copy from above. I recommend taking time to visit. We plan to go back next time we re in Panama but get there rely in the day. Thoroughly recommend it.

“Nice hike”
Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

It was a little warm, but definitely worth seeing. I saw lots of ants, lizards and some big bugs, not as many birds as I would of hoped.

“World's premier birding location.”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

The images I have from the tower, looking across the plush tree canopies at sunrise, will stay with me for my lifetime. The peace I felt. Don't forget binoculars or a telescope to view exotic birds from the tower and don't fail to go there very early in the morning when all the birds and animals are awake. After 10 a.m., the animals and birds rest. So you MUST go sometime after dawn and prior to 10 a.m.

We saw toucans, parrots, huge iguanas, beautiful little birds and a nature's flower arrangement ontop of a couple of tree canopies.
