Always read and heard about the PC but now I have lived it. Took the Half day cruise through the locks into the lake aboard the Pacific Queen and loved every minute of it. Gus, the Guide narrated every aspect of 4 hour trip in both English and Spanish.

It was amazing to see the canal and the way it works. There is a museum with a lot of great info. You will learn a lot no matter what age you are. However if there isn't a ship at the canal when you get there, you have to wait for a ship to arrive to then witness the greatness of the canal. So you might be in for a wait. So hopefully you are not on a strict schedule.

A must see attraction. For only $8 we got to see a 3d movie on the history of the canal, a trip to the museum and the canal itself. We got to see a ship crossing the canal and it was very impressive. Awesome experience!

If you're in Panama City this is a must see and do. I knew a bit about the canal before I went but when I left I knew so much more. The history, how the canal works, the new expansion are all talked about. The view from the observatory deck can't be beat for watching the canal in action.

We went earlier in the day around 9-10 and saw boats going through the canal.

I loved that you don't need to pay to go up to the balcony to see the canal. Very educational and a fantastic experience!
