It was great to see a miracle of engineering. I wish had spent more time here, I guess I will have to come back another time.

We spent 5 hours soaking it in. Now I want to know more. The plans of the expansion are shown on the top floor. Do not miss it if you are in the area. There is a simulation room in the museum where you are in the Captain's seat, as the ship is being maneuvered through the canal. Lots of fun.

Great museum, amazing to watch when it was busy like it was when we were there. We had the whole building closed for our group for an evening event and it was fabulous.

Watching the boats go thru with such narrow clearance was an eyeopener. The whole process is fantastic. We went to both the Miraflores lock and the Gutan lock.....the Canal and it's history has made a mark on all our lives for the good.

A must visit on your stop to Panama. Most economic way to get there... take a cab to Albrook Mall (about 3.5 USD from El Cangrejo). From there you take a 10 minute bus ride (0.35 USD) to the Miraflores outlook (5 minutes walk from the busstation).

Plan on spending at least 2 hours at the center before returning to the mall, where you can shop/eat and then head back to the city.
