We want to say a big THANK YOU to Neil, Tom & Dan for the wonderful tour we recently completed while travelling through the Panama Canal. They picked us up on time at our meeting point in 3 spotlessly clean vehicles and proceeded to show us around the city. We got to experience a ship coming through the Locks at Miraflores and we toured the museum which showed how the Canal was built and what was being done now to expand it. We took a trip up Ancon Hill (where the tour buses can't travel) and from there saw both the new city and old city from high above. We also got to see our first (and only) Toucan. After, we travelled to Caso Viejo - the wonderful old city and had an excellent lunch at Casablanca in one of the restored buildings. The boys got us back to the dock in plenty of time to catch our tender back to the ship. At all times we found our driver, Neil, to be pleasant, knowledgeable and informative about the areas we travelled both through and to. We would highly recommend this company for anyone travelling to the Panama area. We definitely feel we got excellent value for the tour. Thank You! Sylvia & Roy B.

Almost incredulous to experience transiting the Canal on a ship! Ours was the Island Princess and we had a great naturalist on board who explained the Canal's history, construction, and step by step process of going through the locks.

The canal is very interesting and being an ex-Air Force guy, the military feel of the zone was interesting.

I had the opportunity to be in the canal twice. First was by the middle of the day when the place is crowded, humid and hot. Second, I was in a business diner at night. I was expecting a better restaurant but it wasn’t that bad. At least it was a lot better to see the ships and locks working.
It is a must have attraction to be, there is a little interesting museum about the canal and the canal itself.

Panama Canal cruise on Celebrity Millenium from Miami to San Diego via the canal. The cost per person approx £340 was well worth it. We started at 5.30am to transit to the Gatun lock and reached the Centennial Bridge approx 4.30pm. A feat of engineering. If you know when you are going through the canal you can send the link below to your family and friends and they too can experience the locks at the same time as you do!

A visit to the Miraflores Lock is well worth a trip to see how the locks work close up.
