Color me quite surprised to find this great restaurant totally unreviewed here on Trip Advisor from what I can see (?). We've been here twice now, once a year ago, and just had to go back again in late June. I call it 'Spanish', but many dishes have a local Panamanian flair, and though traditional full 'platos' are available, the extensive tapas menu always delights our palates.
The restaurant has a fine indoor dining area, but the large pleasant tent-covered gardens outdoors call to us, and that's where the fairly young, 'hip' crowd seems to flock as well. Almost full every time we go, this place is an obvious hit with the Panamanian crowd it draws, with few tourists in sight (maybe that explains the lack of recognition on Trip Advisor!)
When you go, ask for Marco as your waiter, he's been our 'man' two years running, very pleasant and efficient. (photo attached). Please tell him the Norte Americanos who love the cuatro leches said hello. That dessert, alone, is well worth the trip, by the way.
