Description: Las Clementinas Cafe and Bar is an iconic restaurant in Casco Viejo. While the ambiance is distinctively Old Panama, our menu might be described as contemporary Panamanian comfort food. Our highest culinary priority is to use the best local, traditional ingredients we can find while exploring the medley of cultures that have made Panama one of the great cross roads of the world.

“Nice place, food could improve”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

This is a very nicely decorated restaurant in the old part of Panama and could easily be one of the best in Panama if only more attention would be put on the food. Service is adequate could also improve. There are lots of good restaurants in the Casco Viejo but this is one of the authentic looking restaurants.

“Muy delicisioso!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2012

We went to Las Clementinas on a recommendation from our hotel staff and it did not disappoint. From the first course to the after dinner drinks everything was super fresh and delicious. We ordered the seafood sampler that was very good. I had the Bombay chicken that was very good. My wife had the lamb burrito that looked and smelled good and she said it was amazing. We had a dessert called "olividalo" and it had ice cream, a vanilla cake, candied nuts, and marshmallows. It doesn't sound like they go together but its was the best dessert I have had in a long time. We had some flaming Sambuca shots afterwards and we left very happy and satisfied. We would recommend to anyone that is in the Casco Viejo.

“Sunday Brunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2012

Give time to enjoy the Sunday brunch and listen to wonderful Jazz being played. The outdoor patio is elegant and the rooftop patio is amazing, but you cannot dine there. All of the cocktails are spot on and the service was great!

“A Hidden Treasure”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2012

The food was great. Miguel, the front desk clerk gave excellent customer service skills. He was also very fluent in English. He gave us a little history of the place and showed us two of the rooms as it's also a boutique hotel. It is in old town Panama which a lot of the buildings are being renovated.

“Great brunch; new staff wasn't trained properlly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012

Ate the full fare brunch - was delicious! Everything was great excpet the empanada which was bland and dry. It was fine though - b/c if I ate all the 5 courses, I probably would have exploded. We sat outside in a little patio with trees surrounding us. It was very quaint. The wait staff did not understand how brunch worked and the only way we were able to communicate with them was one in our party spoke fluent spanish. Otherwise, I am not sure we would have had such a stress free meal.

Not in the best area of town - I don't think I would go back there if it were dark out!

Make reservations!!!!!!!!!!!
