My wife and I went back to Panama were I grew up and wanted to do some bass fishing. We booked a day with Panama Canal Fishing prior to arriving in Panama and we are glad that we did, everything was simple to book and arrange. They put us right on the bass and also took us to see wildlife out there in Gamboa. Hands down they are the best at what they do and made the day feel just like old times. Rich and his team are awesome and I recommend to anyone who wants to do some great bass fishing, get with these guys. I will be using them again in March when I return to Panama.

Thank CZbito

Used a travel company out of Texas for a private peacock bass fishing trip. It was over an hour to get to the place to start fishing. Once we finally started fishing it was worth the trip. We had a shore lunch. Only downside was the guide did not speak any English. We managed for the 6 hours of fishing but would have been better if the guide spoke a little English.

A must do on your visit to Panama! We caught lots of peacock bass...saw crocodiles, monkeys, and many large freighters! The reservation process was simple. Abelardo picked us up at our hotel on time and entertained us all day with fascinating facts and stories. We took the fish back to our hotel and ended the perfect day with a fabulous meal!

We brought 6 guys to Panama for a bachelor party and we each caught an average of 20 fish! Most were Peacock Bass with a few Tiger fish in there as well. Rich and his team were awesome through the entire process. We spoke to Rich the night before when we got into Panama, added a boat to our itinerary and changed our departure time (due to lots of drinking) and Rich rolled with it the whole way. He was very willing to pick us up later in the morning, took us to get breakfast (also had lunch and beer on the boat for us already) and easily made payment with credit cards a breeze.
If I make it back to Panama I will definitely use Panama Canal Fishing again!

Went for half day fishing on the canal - caught over 30 peacock bass.
Guide Avilardo (sorry for spelling) was friendly, helpful, knowledgable and made a real special day for us with perfect service that ended with us eating the fish we caught for dinner.
