The Benidorm was just around the corner from my hotel, and I ended up eating breakfast and dinner there every day.
The food is good, the service friendly and the prices very inexpensive.
The local chicken soup is actually more of a stew, and is a filling meal in and of itself.
The murals on the walls depict many facets of Panama, mostly of the indigenous people.
Beware of the tea with milk if like me, you drink your tea the English way, where the tea is made with boiling water, to which you add a splash of milk. Here, tea with milk is a cup of hot milk with a tea bag in it!! The staff had trouble understanding that I wanted both water AND milk.
The Benidorm is air conditioned and is open 24/7, it is also a place where the Tourist Police go to hang out or to take their breaks.
