“Great Authentic Experience”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Could not leave Panama without enjoying a great authentic culinary experience. After searching TA I found El Trapiche which was conveniently a 3 minute walk from my hotel. Had the Fiesta Panamena which is a mixed platter of all their best dishes. Great value for just $11. Food was full of flavor and very hearty portions. I would definitely recommend!

“Great Local Spot”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

Great authentic Panamenian food. Always busy with locals and not that pricey for the quality of food. The service isnt the best, but thats typical for Central America. This is a great spot.

“I'll go somewhere else for tipical Panamenian food next time”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

This is a tipical (Panamenian style food) restaurant, it's a review for people who have eaten Panamenian food.
Visited it for breakfast. The blackbeans were cold, white cheese cold and tasteless, coffee and milk (cafe con leche) the coffee tasted burned, OJ was OK, bacon tasted supermarket imported (not bad but not tipical bacon), the patacones were OK, the carimañola was cold and (from our point of view) tasteless, the hojaldre was very good. The place is OK, the service is OK, the prices are OK. We are not going back, if we can avoid it.

“Good food, good prices”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

This is a nice restaurant to get local food. It is good food and priced very reasonably. It will give you a good idea of what Panamanian food is. The service is good, which can be hard to find in Panama.
