“Avoid warm beer in hot weather”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013

Nothing is better than an ice cold beer in a sunny day. Asked if beer was ice cold. Answer was yes, beer was not. Had been here before, seems it is in a downward slope. The shish kebab was poor, should be grilled meat on a stick.... Perhaps this is a place for groups and evening, share starters. Will not return.

“Excelent Live singer and keyboard player”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013

I went to mainly see the artist who presents there on the weekends since i had seen videos of his performances on you tube, it was amazing, the ambience, the service and the food. I recomend you go on the weekends to catch the live music, but the belly dancers are one of the worst ive seen, they jump up on the chairs and tables, it looks more like a show for night clubs and not a restaurant, anyway overall great and as a said be sure to go on the weekend and catch the live show, its worth it.

“The best Middle Eastern food in central america”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

Amazing food, great atmosphere and good service.
Beirut is an all round great restaurant with a mouth watering selection of food.
This is a popular place, so be sure to get there early.
Starters are amazing:
Hummus - is the best we have had.
Moussaka - amazing, just amazing.

and the pita! WOWZERS.

We love stopping off here on transit. In fact we make a stop over especially to eat here.

The main courses are all well marinated, seasoned and cooked. The beef melts in your mouth and the lamb is tender and not fatty. All the kebabs are great.

You would really be missing out on a gem of Panama City if you don't eat here.

Loved it so much, we are going back tonight, making visit number 6th.

“Great ambiance, lovely dancers, service could be improved”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a fun place to go for an evening of Mediterranean cuisine. The atmosphere is very lively and the decor is cozy. The dinner is punctuated by beautiful belly dancers. It is too bad Shah Rukh is neutered, otherwise could enjoy even more. Food preparation is very good. Only small drawback is that the service is slow and sometimes unresponsive. But then again, the entertainment keeps you busy.

Shah Rukh says: If you are in Panama City for a few nights, then definitely put this place on your agenda.

Shah Rukh's tip: If you don't know how to belly dance, then don't get carried away by joining the women. Leave this to pros and enjoy.

“An entertaining, relaxing and delicious evening!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

From the moment you walk in, the ambience smacks you in the face! A man in traditional Lebanese garb seats you at our table. Throughout the evening, belly dancers come and go. Nearly every table has a hookah (although the price is quite expensive). The hummus and fattoush were excellent. Food prices were very fair and altogether, it was a memorable evening. It's not fine dining, so I wouldn't recommend it for special occasions, but for a casual night out, it can't be beat! Kids are welcome as well, in fact, the belly dancers love playing with the kids. Service is slow though, so be prepared to order your drinks before you finish your current one.
