Had everything you would expect from a good hostel (lockers, wifi, free breakfast, tv room, book swap, information, ample kitchen), however the big let down here was being attacked by bedbugs on the first night. This also happened to another girl in the same dorm. The staff didn't seem bothered or surprised and didn't even apologise on behalf of the hostel.
Having stayed in hostels all over the world this is the first time I've had this problem which suggests that they are not doing something right.
Also, if you stay in the dorm and are hoping for a private room don't hold your breath. They don't take reservations for the private rooms which seem to go first come first served once someone checks out, which is not really fair if you happen to go out for the day and someone arrives and takes it.
Upper bunks in dorms are much cooler as the fans don't make it to the bottom very well. More
