Pancakes and bananas and coffeeeeeee! weeeee!
You can book your island stay here and store your luggages while your away.
I tried to like this place.. i gave it two tries so the positive was for ME.
thought the cinema was cool but the sitting area was YuCK!

(-)
lil tihngs bit me and my hubby
staff looks/pretends helpful but some were just saying yes but then doing nothing.
whats the deal with getting a book approved by a staff so you can exchange it? seriously? its not theirs to begin with. it was left by a previous guest so that some other person can read it and not to just display inside locked cabinets.
i think i paid so much money for so much inconvenience.

thats all.

Luna's castle in located in an awesome neighbourhood of Casco Viejo, a pretty old town on the hill. As pretty as most of the architecture is, some of the streets in that area are definite no-goes due to their slummish nature. But the hostel staff is pretty helpful in advising you on where to go/not go. And the overall security in the hostel is good, with night time security guards at the door checking no random people enter the building. We stayed in a door room facing the street, which obviously made the room pretty noisy at night, so do take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!Other than that the rooms were clean and spacious, and the lovely housekeeping ladies took care of the cleanliness at all times. (and even gave us free leftover pulled pork when were desperate for drunked munchies)

Socially, the hostel is really active; awesome common area with guitars and free computers with an open balcony overlooking the old town. Although the crowd was slightly clicky, overall the people seemed cool and similar-minded. The bar downstairs is one the best hostel bars we've ever seen! The parties got pretty packed and wild lasting until the early morning. So thank god we did not have one of the rooms facing the outdoor bar area!Overall, totally recommend this place to outgoing party people!

Room Tip: If you want silence at night, you might have to get a room without a window!

First off it is located in an amazing area, you get to see the tourist area and the none tourist area. I got the shared 10 bed room and it was huge. It was hot but nothing unbearable. The view outside the room was stunning. For the price it was well worth it.

One thing. There is no hot water but you dont really mind it when you are in the heat all day. also always wear slippers in the shower and bathrooms. I saw some things that made me glad I was.

If bathrooms are a big thing for you this is not your hostel. there are 3 toilets and 3 showers side by side its for all so no private toilets here. and thats okay with me.

I really loved the feel of this place. It's in a great spot in the old part of the city. The rooms vary. The privates are tiny with no windows as are some of the dorms. Luckily we got the 10 bed dorm with the spectacular view of the city skyline. The rooms get hot but not unbearable. The staff are some of the friendliest I've met, especially Will!
They have a big kitchen and cool your own pancakes in the morning. A great beer garden and common areas.
