“The pizza. Oh, the pizza.”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

the pizza here is awesome! a thin, crispy crust with a perfect blend of sauce, spices and cheese. high quality ingredients: you have to wash it down with a good glass of sangria. or two.

“Food is good but the service...ehhh”
Reviewed January 29, 2012

The food was surprisingly great! I especially loved the Popeye which had goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. I also had the garlic bread which was good but a lil heavy on the garlic. Never a good thing if you're on a date. ;-) My favorite was the olive oil with red pepper chili. It had a good amount of spice to perk up the bread or pizza!

The service was not the best experience. I think that towards the end of the night they kept forgetting requests and parts of our order even though I requested it several times. I won't hold it against them completely because the pizza made up for it. They're lucky ;-)

If you're craving good Pizza during your stay in Nicaragua, visit Casa Mia.

“Awesome Brick Oven Pizza”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

We have eaten at Casa Mia on various occasions and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean and classy and the pizza is amazing! We also enjoy the salads that are offered on the menu. You can't go wrong here if you want a special evening out.
The restaurant is somewhat difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the Carretera Sur area. Even though the listing says "Km 12.7 Carretera Sur," it is actually at about kilometer 12. This can confuse some taxi drivers. But if you tell your driver, "Serranías," they will get you almost to the restaurant's doorstep. Casa Mia is located about 150 meters south of the Serranías grocery store (on the next block) beside a small strip mall. The general area is also known as "Las Jinotepes."
It's not as complicated as it sounds and it's definitely worth the effort to find it!

“Great or almost perfect italian food”
Reviewed October 8, 2011

From starters to main courses a great service is always provided along the food; the ambient is cozy and homelike, the building is a new construction resembling the nicaraguan house with some mediterranean influences; sit on the terrace and enjoy the warm weather and a good wine. The pizza's are made in the traditional mud brick oven delivering a crispy yet thin bread pizza resembling Napoli's original pizza. I really recommend this place, and if you are vegetarian this might be a great place to eat on a saturday night or any other day of the week.
