Great view, although lots of steps, it's worth the climb! You can see San Salvador on one side and the ocean on the other. Go by taxi or private car.

Hiking in midst of a tropical wonderland filled with fragrant flowers, a myriad of colorful butterflies, pure mountain air makes this a real treat. The climb is in the jungle and some places are steep but the views are out of this world! If you like to workout and eat in all the eye candy around you then go for this neat get-a-way in El Salvador.

I was born and raised in El Salvador, and always enjoy going back home. Delicious food, amazing beaches, and great locations like this one in the Planes de Renderos neighborhood. The view here is just amazing, and you can breathe the most pure air in the whole are. Highly recommended spot to enjoy some family time, have very good pupusas, and get to know some the beautiful places El Salvador has to offer! Back next year..

Make sure you get up to the top of Devil's Door. It has stunning views of the city and the mountains. You can even see to the beach

Vistas are great. Legend is fun. Young men haul water to the top of the hike early in the morning, so you don't have to carry water if you want to focus on the climb.
