I dined at La Tour Bistro based on TripAdvisor ranking -- and was not disappointed. Restaurant was a little difficult to find (near American School, on 2nd floor of modern but rather antiseptic strip mall), but once inside I was very happy with my choice. The owner, Francisco, is a Salvadoran who trained and worked in France for a number of years before returning home. Restaurant uses a chalkboard menu to accommodate Francisco's choices based on what he finds and likes at the markets each day. I was very happy w food quality, presentation and generous portion sizes. Only quibble was the chilling of red wine, and offer to put ice cubes in my cognac, but I understand this is how the locals prefer to drink in a hot climate.
