I am really glad I chose to stay here - it is small enough that you feel taken care of personally, but yet can have quiet and privacy when you choose. Also, as a traveler who speaks Spanish but is sometimes a bit limited, it was comforting to have bilingual owners Gretchen and Camilo. If you are new to El Salvador like I was, then this is a great starting-off point. You can also walk, closely and safely, to amenities - I had a pedicure a few blocks away, met some friendly local police, and grabbed snacks at the modern supermarket right around the corner. As a solo, female traveler, the fantastic security staff and good location make a big difference too. Added nice bonus: really gorgeous and creative art all over the walls, which capture your interest when you are just relaxing and hanging out. Ask about tours / rides & drop-offs etc too, because they are very amenable for this too. Cheers Camilo y Gretchen!

Room Tip: yes, as some of the reviews point out, a number of the rooms are dark and no window to the outdoors, but as a person who as lived in several Latin Am countries, I can tell you, this is a blessing! Sleep in most S.American countries on a street room can be very challenging! Slept like a (sleeping) baby!

Friendly staff, good service, safe, conveniently located, good parking, everything works. This is a great little place. We stayed twice for business reasons and once with my family. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and all our expectations were full filled. The location of the hotel is perfect and very near everything. The staff are very nice and very serviceminded. The rooms are nice and quite big. Everything worked fine. The beds are quite good. The cleaning is ok, but could be better. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was so and so.

My family and I are so pleased that we stayed at this hotel. The staff and service are first class. They always greeted us and were there for any needs we had. Thank you Camilo and Gretchen and please extend it to Doris, Mirna, Luis and the rest of the staff. I'll recommend this hotel to all my friends and family traveling to El Salvador.

Room Tip: Rooms are nice with cable TV and free WiFi.

Overall stay was fine. Nothing really to complain about. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast and the cleanliness of the bathroom. Shower was plugged. However, staff was lovely, location was great and price was good.
