I was highly recommended Sherborne Hotel through a colleague and the idea of staying in a serviced apartment seemed especially appealing as we were traveling with our 4 year-old son. Having a full-featured kitchen, as well as having the apartment cleaned daily and our laundry done for us the same day meant we could spend double the time exploring the diamond in the rough that is Kiev and not worry about house work for once when we got back!
We were very pleased with the high quality of their apartments and especially professional and lovely staff who were very helpful throughout our stay with local advice and various favours. The place is shielded from the main road leading to the center by a row of adjacent buildings — after several weeks of traveling around Asia, silence is something all of us immediately appreciated! The tube station, the local supermarket and a few restaurants are within a three minute radius.
Room was equipped with wifi, and I understand it's available throughout the building. Not sure what they use for internet but connectivity is blinding fast! All-in-all a big thank you to staff — it was a pleasant change, even compared to top-range hotels, with a personal touch when you need it and a great value for money!

Before our trip to Kiev, I had several email exchange with the staff, for questions about airport pickup, international train tickets and change of schedule due to oversold flight. The staff responded my emails within a few hours, trying their best to accomondate our need. Airport pick costs $50, which is well worth it. Considering there is limited independent tourist information about Kiev, the hotel acted as our information center. It's a great model for the city to develop tourism. We definitely will stay in this hotel again when we are in Kiev next time.

If you plan to go to Kiev stay at the Sherborn Guest House!

Location is unbeatable right in the centre of city. You are in the heart of capital and you won't need to drive much.

The rooms here are lovely, they are cleaned everyday to a high standard.

My room was large and comfortable.......location excellent. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They easy helped me with my Internet. Inspite of a full booking, phones were answered on time.

I couldn't praise this hotel more. I have already booked to stay again and can't wait to get back there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Good location, we had booked a 2 rooms apartment and upon arrival have been upgraded to a 3 rooms apartment with no extra charge. No elevator equiped hotel but we were aware of that before coming so no problem. Apartment was at the 8th floor (the highest).it was clean. Commercial and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel with no hesitation.

Booking was easy - the staff speak good English, which is not common in Ukraine. They arranged for a car and driver to meet us at the airport, and the same for the journey home.
Location is a short walk from the Arsenalna metro station, convenient for getting to the city centre. A knowledge of the Cyrillic alphabet helps greatly in navigating around the metro and the city generally, as tourism is clearly directed towards Russian rather than western visitors.
It's also just a short walk - in the other direction - to the Caves Monastery complex.
We were upgraded free of charge to a larger (2 bedroom) apartment than the one we'd booked, which gave plenty of space for my wife and I and our 16 year old son. The staff were great: on our first evening when we were tired and it was raining, they telephoned a nearby restaurant to order take-away food, then collected it and brought to our apartment on the 6th floor. This was much appreciated, as there is no lift in the building.
The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of snacks and drinks were supplied, though it's cheaper to use the 24 hour supermarket just a few minutes away.
