It was my aim to visit this Arch, but coming there i was absolutely dissappoited. Around the historical place there are some local amusements for children, which even does not give any opportunity to take a good picture. Worth visiting only once

We went in the winter and in the snow. This is a large arch with statues, but what was really rewarding here was the view of the city being cut in half by the river. Well worth the photographic view.

The view of the river was great. The statues recalled the Soviet era and it's impact on Ukraine. From a historical perspective, it was interesting to see.

The people in the Ukraine see this "Friendship Arch" as a joke since they don't consider Russia and their "friend". The Arch itself is only moderately interesting. It is quite large and make of what looks like either aluminum or stainless. The site is imposing. From this hillside you can look down on the entire city. You can see the Dneiper River and the bridges crossing it. You don't need to spend much time here but do go for the view and great photo ops.

This arch is a good starting point when going to the water museum and to the puppet theatre.
There is a Tyrolean crossing to Hydropark for not those with a faint heart.
