“Good, but with some concerns...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

Good food, nice to have it in Kiev. Fresh, seems to be organic food. Nice and smart waiters, lots of comments on food and drinks. Wonderfull vine list. High ceiling indoors, cosy terrace outdoor. Small parking in front, with red carpet(!)

The only 2 things to give 4 instead of 5: tastes of all plates seem to be over-rich - just like you have ideal food, but add 1-2 additional spicies or ingridients. This seems to be a non-French, more like French overseas. Another one - tabletops are too small, so you need to rearrange it all the time: salt-n-pepper, a pair of glasses, fork-n-knife, bread, oil&vinegar plus candle... No room for plates.

“Undervalued”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

This restaurant it ranked something like 141 in Kiev, but I found it to be great. I had an amazing consommé with egg and truffles, and a duck confit, both of which were unique and delicious. And the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. This restaurant should definitely move up the list. It was also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back on my next visit.

“Organic”

very good organic food, nice service, but quite expensive. The atmosphere is also good, everything around is natural and wooden. Overall - very nice experience, I would return there for lunch.

“Very nice food but a bit pretentious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013

All three courses were both to good to look at and to taste - I particularly liked the Jealous Strawberry.
We sat outside - it wasn't cold but most of the female customers had blankets given to them to place around their shoulders! An odd touch.
Our waiter was a bit over-attentive.

“The place for foodies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2013

After eating salo and borsch for a couple of days I wanted to try something a little bit fancier. Citronelle was exactly what I was looking for. They offer French cousine and good service. Tried really tasty baked brie and an arugula salad (they call it rukula), the dorado fish was also well done. You can get freshly squeezed juices there in any combination.

There was a couple in the next table that ordered oranges. As I've learned a bit later, there were no oranges in the restaurant at the moment, but the waitress sent someone to the grocery store to purchase oranges for the customers.

Expect to spend $50 for a good meal with a glass of wine.

Will go there again.
