We appreciate very much your time and very nice feed back!
I will definitely share with our staff your comments! They are really sincere trying to care about our guests.
Thank you for your recommendations as well!
Clean, pleasant and well-functioning hotel a little distance from city centre. Everything worked as it should and the price was competitive. The walk from the metro-station to the hotel was a bit spooky after dark but otherwise the area feels safe. Would definitely stay again.
This is a new hotel in Kiev. Considering how expensive it is to stay in a decent hotel in Kiev, this hotel is a good alternative if you don't intend to spend a lot of time in your room.
The hotel is clean, and the rooms large and comfortable. You won't find any "extras" such as a coffee maker, toiletries or expensive linens; but this is standard for any Ibis.
The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is free and the signal is strong everywhere in the hotel. There is no fitness center.
If you take a walk outside the hotel you can find restaurants, bars and cafes. If you don't feel like exploring, the hotel restaurant located on the 2nd floor is decent and the bar is open 24 hours.
The taxi ride from the airport will take anywhere from 35 minutes to 1 hour from the new airport terminal. If you don't have a pre-arranged ride, you will need to take out Ukrainian Hryvnia to pay for a taxi as you won't find a taxi that accepts credit cards.
Decided to stay at this hotel in Kiev since it was new. My experiences here so far have been quite pleasant; this is my third night of a six night stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not include the breakfast in my rate given the reviews I've read about that before. But, the Oopen Restuarant in the hotel serves very good, inexpensive food and I've eaten there twice already. Although basic and small, the room is new, clean, and comfortable. I sleep well in the bed. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main city street where the attractions are. But, there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, etc. around the hotel to enjoy. I would stay here again.
Well soundproofed rooms made for a great sleep. Well priced for expensive Kiev. A bit of a walk to the main sights, but well placed for nearby restauranys for evenings. Good free wifi. Breakfasts expensive....better to find a cafe during sight-seeing.
Rooms = very good Ibis standard. Clean, warm, with cosy bed and a shower, toilet, sink - all a very good standard of condition
Breakfast = buffet style, different every day, plentiful and varied (some of the dishes were Ukrainian but enough Continental and hot food if you aren't adventurous)
Staff - very helpful and friendly with good enough spoken English
Location = 20 mins walk from town centre, but there is a Metro five mins walk away (uphill)
Bar = 24 hour bar serving all main brands
Tip: order your taxis through reception to get an agreed fair price.
Safe area with security and police presence in an already good area.
