There is not much to say indeed, it is the best quality high class entertainment you can find.
All the performers are super pro, and the orchestra is beyond praise.
The buffet though is pricey and without much to choose from.
But they have recently opened a restaurant on the ground floor which may just compensate for that.
This place is worth visiting!
And the price for a ticket varies from 5 to 30 Euros, not bad as for me.

Thank Nikita K

Both the exterior and interior are amazing. It is a huge building. The inside is like a museum. We watched the swan lake and really recomend it

Beautiful location and extremely cheap to attend quality productions. Well worth visiting again and again.

Saw Carmen (opera) and sleeping beauty (ballet) last week in kiev. Got tickets a few days before hand and had a great eveing out for a very reasonable price. All shows start at 7pm, and ended around 10pm. Food and drink were available at intermission. Coat room in the lower floor held onto winter coasts for free. I have seats on the ground floor near the back, but regret I didn't get 1st level seats, which would have been quite good, and a better view. For the ballet, I had two large headed people in front of me. I judiciously changed seats at the intermission and took an empty one further up the front which improved my experience immensely. Taxi drivers are lingering outside after the show for those who don't want a walk home late at night alone (as I was) or in the cold...night temps around 0C. They ask higher prices but can still negotiate a bit.Metro is around 2 minuates walk up the road if you are located away from the centre.
