Pervak has an unusual ambiance - part Russian, part rustic, part garden - really very hard to describe. But put all together, it is quite charming and romantic.
It has a non smoking section, upstairs, but the restaurant is "open" so the smoke drifts up to the non smoking section.
The service was good, and the food absolutely delicious. My wife had the duck breast, and I had veal and chicken fillets with a cherry and rosemary sauce. My chicken and veal were as tasty and tender as I have ever had. The prices are very reasonable for an upscale restaurant.
My dessert consisted of an excellent and generous portion of creme brulee.
Don't forget to check out the bar stools in the bar.
