When you are in Kiev, you should of coarse also walk around here. Her you can spend a lot of money on all kind of things, food, etc.

“Must visit street”

Don't miss this while you're in Kiev. There's a Lenin statue with a photo opportunity. This street is very accessible by the metro.

“a stalinesque experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

Lots of money to drop, then this is the street for you. If you are on a budget, go underground for souvenirs, and cheaper shops, or else enjoy all the big names in even bigger buildings which all look right out of 70's stalingrad. Weekends the street is closed and the public passtime is to stroll down the middle of the road. Check out some wonderful buildings down the street such as the post office at Independance square.

“worth a look”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

I every time i am in Kiev walk up this busy main road in kiev at the week-ends it is great as part of the road is closed to traffic and then you get to see the locals doing their own thing from roller skateing too the odd dancer you can also just walk along and do some window shopping be ready to pay a high price if you use the shops on this street a pair of shoes can start from £500 and that could be a cheap pair if you use the the big shops their is also for a M&S at one end of the street near Arena City pleanty of bar cafe along the road and if you are just their for the week end for those who could not survie their is also a McDonalds o joy not but their is one next to the Metro Station so easy to find be careful of the picture sellers with the birds they are not cheap better to use the Globus or Arean city areas for your shopping

“Khreshchatyk Street”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

What a beautiful street. Brands and cafes and people.
I usually try to accommodate in a hotel near this street, so I can walk in the street or wander in Independence square very often what I like the most.
