“A view of how an Eastern Leader Lived”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

The Tito Mausoleum provides a good history of how powerful Tito was and how he lived. The guides we had said they were happy to have Tito as their leader vs. being under the control pof the Soviet Union. There are many pictures of Tito during his rule along with some of his personal artifacts.

“historical place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Although rusty, this mausoleum of the old days still leaves a great impression on all visitors from the former Yugoslavia. It's nice to remember some good old times when we were a pawn in the hands of the world's strongmen

“kitschy commie stuff in the gift shop”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

We've been here a few times, most recently to see a display of gifts to Tito from world leaders. The best part is the gift shop, where my teens got cool t-shirts with images from the old days.

“a place of shame”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

I'm biased! There's nothing special about it - it's a socialistic building monster that should (but it doesn't) remind Serbs of their devotion to a wrong man!

“Fine”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

Its a nice museum, but it basically only has the presents he got. Not very much relevant information in my opinion.
