Owner description: Grocka is a municipality of 70,000 people located some 15 km from Belgrade. It is easily accessible by bus, but for a quicker trip a car is not a bad option. Grocka is full of fertile land, hence over the years it has developed into an agricultural center in the region. Primarily a visitor will come across plenty of orchards and vineyards. I suggest a visit during spring and fall.

“Nice place to visit”
Reviewed March 6, 2012

Grocka is small town 25 km east from Belgrade, at the riverbank of Danube. There are a lot of weekend houses, people from Belgrade like to go there to spend a couple of days. There are several nice restaurants by the Danube shore. This is fishery town and you can find a nice selection of river fish. The view from the hills over the Danube and Banat plains (part of Vojvodina) across the river is beautiful.
