“Still under construction”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

This church is only finished on the outside, which is covered with nice white marble. The inside is still uncovered cement. Also there are some shops selling small icons and thinks like that. If you happen to pass nearby, have a look. If you miss it, no problem.

“It's a big church, so is like a big church”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

If you have seen many big churches, this is quite big church-like. It is not finished inside yet, so imagine entering something which looks quite ancient, but with a non-finished concrete floor. In this respect it reminds me of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow. I am sure it will be great when complete.

“Definitely go!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

We had some spare time in Belgrade and so decided to go to St Sava Temple! Before getting to Belgrade we thought the temple looked good, however it was far out of the city centre so we thought that it wouldnt be worth the trek. However it definitely was! Had a compltely different atmosphere than the rest of the city. Was relaxing, peaceful etc. Temple itself is amazing to look at from the outside! Still being finished on the inside, but its cool to see a church being built!

“One of the biggest cathedrals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Actually, the temple is still being under construction, but it' s already light and impressive. Nevertheless, it will be even more impressive when it is finished.

“Dominant of Belgrade.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

It is the largest Orthodox church in the world. From the outside it looks really monumental. We were quite surprised that in the inside it was empty and internal decoration is unfinished. But it is great architectural monument worth to see when in Belgrade.
