River is dirty, covered with plastic bottles and other trash. Noisy during the night. Good bicycle route, but bit of dangerous. Beware of the dogs!

In my oppinion the nicest part of Sava it's in New Belgrade and it's called Savski Kej (quay). It's real hedonistic place during the summer, with lots of boats and weekend cottages. You shouldn't miss this!

Its only claim to fame, I think, is because it joins the Danube! Somewhat dirty, but where you get on the boats (below the castle). Best viewed from the bridge Branko Most. If you are there might as well walk over to the USCE shopping centre (first building after the bridge). I usually don't recommend shopping centres but the dinar has dropped in value and some of the international products here are well-priced e.g. at Marks and Spencer, C&A, etc. Tram 7 and 9 passes here.

I went for dinner, fish soup (good but too spicy) and a river fish (great). It is a boat transformed to restaurant and its location is just perfect. Unfortunately, the time was past 21.00, but I will definately visit it again in afternoon, where sitting by the Danube will be really breathtaking

Very nice boat trip on Sava and Danube, with a good dinner aboard looking at these great rivers and big bridges crossing them.
