The location was good, the bedrooms were clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Reception especially, they were smiling and spoke perfect English.
The room was incredibly basic, no comfort, no facilities. There was a Nescafe coffee machine but those pods destroy the planet and there was no kettle or tea bags which was disappointing. The rooms were absolutely boiling and the thermostat impossible to figure out. At one point I was sure it was off yet the room went from 24 degrees (already too hot) to a stifling 27. The TV worked for about 5 minutes, then switched to a loading screen. Every time.
The service at the lobby restaurant was friendly but incredibly slow and they didn't have most of the items. You had to compete with the waiting staffs constantly ringing mobile phone. Food was OK but bland and overpriced. We wanted to try their rooftop restaurant but had never seen such an uninspiring menu, so we left and ate elsewhere.
In general, not a bad hotel, but very basic. Not luxury in any way and in need of quite a few improvements such as the menu food being available, faster service and better facilities in the rooms.
