The room was nice and very clean, with a very spacious bathroom, but the decoration of the room was very plain - not what I expected from this kind of old-worldy hotel.
Valet parking was definitely worth it, as traffic in Belgrade is crazy.
Breakfast was ok but not great. Very much mass-produced supermarket quality food, and coffee out of a machine you have to wait in line for. The number of tables at breakfast was limited and we couldn't find a place to sit at first.
The staff was not always friendly, and often came off as quite arrogant. Most of them don't care about the guests at all, and make it obvious.

We arrived a day early for a tour beginning the next day and stayed 4 days in June and 1 night in July before returning home. Our first room was standard and very small sleeping space and bathroom. The room was taller than wide. We made it work and had no complaints. Nice view of the River in distance. The second room had king bed , large bathroom with tub/shower, no view but King bed. The breakfast service and food was a very nice selection. The Omelet maker was not always available, but we enjoyed the prepared eggs, fruits and vegetables. Dinner, both the buffet provided to our tour group and the night we ordered from the menu was outstanding. Great selection and we enjoyed the selected wines too. Absolutely the best service in this hotel. Our waiter Zoran was very professional and competent . Everyone greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. If you cleaned your plate, they left it on the table because you might still want more. If you leave a morsel on the plate they will remove your plate if you set down your knife and fork because they assume you are no longer hungry. This is confusing for Americans, but made sense to us once we got with the program. The baggage guys worked very hard and earned their tip, especially when tours arrived. We loved the ambience and convenient location and most of all the friendliness of the staff. If you need space, pick one of the larger rooms. The public areas are very attractive and the terrace is a wonderful place to have a snack and beverage or breakfast.

Simply beautiful hotel with facilities to match.
We enjoyed 2 wonderful breakfasts here on our first stay in Belgrade and based on the all round experience, will be returning to spend a few nights in July 2018- very much looking forward to it.

We had booked a superior duplex suite for a week. On our arrival the gentleman in reception noticed that my husband is a smoker and offered us room 127,which has a balcony and was much appreciated. Our room was spacious, but we missed being able to make an early morning cup of coffee. The hotel does not allow kettles in guest rooms, but does not provide a beverage machine for guest use as is the norm in many other hotels. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes, but availability of some some dishes was limited on days when there were group tours staying.
Wifi was weak, both in the room and in the communal areas.
Reception staff were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English.
